Petasure's innovative facial recognition technology means your pet can be identified by anyone, even if they have had their microchip removed. It's really easy to do and better yet, it's free - simply download and scan with the app to reunite pets and owners across the UK!

Because microchipping is a legal requirement, your pet’s microchip number is recorded on your pet’s profile. Our platform will be connected to the existing DEFRA-compliant microchip database network during 2025. If your pet turns up at a vet’s or an animal shelter and they successfully scan the microchip, they will be able to access your details on our platform and arrange the safe return of your beloved pet.

If they can’t successfully scan the microchip, then they can use the facial recognition feature instead and liaise with our Pet Support Team to contact you and have your pet returned safely home.

A good Samaritan can also use the ‘found a pet’ feature in guest mode if they find your pet, which alerts our Pet Support Centre that your pet has been found.

Sign up and create your account on the website

Once you've picked your subscription, start by creating your Petasure account online. It’s quick, simple, and secure. Enter your details, and we’ll guide you through the process to get your pet added in no time.

Download the app and register your pet’s unique details

Search 'Petasure' in the app store on your mobile device and download, then provide the requested information. Using images of your pet, our AI technology will create a unique digital ID for your pet based on their nose print and other features.

Update and manage your pet’s profile

Once registered, you’ll have full control of your pet’s profile through our easy-to-use platform. Update or edit your pet’s details at any time and access your pet’s identification records whenever you need them.

Stay Connected

Petasure isn’t just about protection; it’s about the power of connection. Our platform allows you to trigger a lost pet alert which is then broadcasted to registered vets, animal shelters and the Pet Protection Network. You’ll receive real-time updates about your pet. Our network immediately steps into action to help reunite you.
